The Boring Co.'s two-mile extension of the Vegas Loop under Paradise Road is still on track to open before the Formula One Las Vegas Grand Prix, which runs Nov. 19-21, according to Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority CEO Steve Hill.

The twin tunnels run between Westgate Las Vegas and a Boring Co. site at 4744 Paradise Road near UNLV. They will open with three new stations: 4744 Paradise, Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, and the former Gordon Biersch restaurant site on Paradise Road near Sphere.

Two of those stations could matter for race-goers. The Virgin Hotels station sits just east of the main grandstand and paddock entrance, and the Gordon Biersch site is close to the T-Mobile fan zone around Sphere.

"We feel really confident it'll be open before the race," Hill told the Las Vegas Review-Journal, adding that the tunnels are still going through permit inspections. No opening date has been announced, so check before you plan your race weekend around it.

The Vegas Loop already runs stations at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Westgate, Resorts World, Encore, Fontainebleau and Sahara.
