Sonic the Hedgehog Speed Cafe, a themed pop-up restaurant built around SEGA's video game hero, opened Saturday, October 17, in Las Vegas' Chinatown at 5600 Spring Mountain Road, Suite A, in the former One Piece Cafe space.

The pop-up is a collaboration between SEGA and restaurateur Andy Nguyen of The Lunchbox Group, according to News 3 and the Las Vegas Review-Journal. The dining room has been redecorated as Sonic's world, and orders come in custom character packaging.

The Las Vegas menu includes dishes you won't find at other Speed Cafe stops: a Vegas Casino Night Dog topped with shaved prime rib and horseradish peppercorn crema, a bacon-wrapped Neon Palace Dog, Shadow's Ultimate Sandwich, and Big's Tackle Box, a fish and chips plate made with beer-battered Icelandic cod. Returning favorites include Sonic's Classic Chili Dog, the Knuckles Sandwich and Power-Up Rings, plus drinks such as Sonic Boom Lemonade and the Chaos Emerald Refresher.

Las Vegas-only Speed Cafe merchandise is sold at the pop-up. The pop-up is scheduled to run through December 2026, according to ChinatownVegas and Speed Cafe's opening announcement. Daily hours after opening weekend have not been widely published, so check Speed Cafe's official social media before you go.
