Statue of Caesar on the Casino Floor at Caesars Palace

Caesars Palace has four statues of Caesar. This is the indoor one, standing on the main casino floor a short walk from the Lobby Bar, with Brioche by Guy Savoy about 15 metres away and the Statue of Venus de Canova a little further along the same walk.

Being indoors is the practical difference between this Caesar and the three outside it. It is under cover, under constant light and reachable at any hour, which makes it the one to head for in July heat or after midnight when the outdoor statues are dark. No ticket and no hotel booking are needed — though under-21s may only pass through a Nevada casino floor, not stop on it, which applies to this statue and none of the others.

Like every classical figure at Caesars Palace, it is a modern reproduction rather than an antiquity; the resort has furnished itself with Roman copies since it opened in 1966. The Three Graces fountain and the Palace Court are within a minute's walk, so this Caesar tends to get seen as part of a loop rather than on its own.
